Roadstar Caravans History: A Legacy of Excellence

Roadstar Caravans has been part of the Aussie caravanning scene for more than 30 years, building vans for people who genuinely love getting out there and exploring this country.

Back in 2009, we joined forces with Australian Hitec Engineering — a chassis manufacturer with 45 years under their belt and a serious reputation for doing things properly. It was a natural fit. We brought the caravan know-how, they brought decades of chassis expertise, and a lot of the original Roadstar team stuck around to keep that history alive.

That combination has shaped who we are today. We've never been the type to stand still, we're always looking at how we build, what materials we use, and where we can do better, so our caravans hold up to real Australian conditions and real Australian trips.

At the end of the day, we're proud of where we've come from and even more excited about what we're building now. Whether you're chasing sunsets on the coast or dust trails through the outback, we want to be the van that gets you there — and gets you home again.
